Eddie and I have found Spring Valley to be the perfectly simple get away. It is only about twenty minutes from home which makes it an easy and relaxing spontaneous evening activity. And it is free. We go there to fish, hike and swim on the hot days (which we have not had yet, but hopefully soon).
