Jamie and Sam came up a week early to celebrate Christmas with my family. While here we had two Christmas'. One on Sunday with my mother's side of the family and one with Jamie and Sam and Daniel and Julie on Monday. We opened gifts and had ham, mash potatoes and pecan pie! William enjoyed the presents and all attention they brought.
Jamie and Sam left on Tuesday, trying to stay ahead of the snow storm that was due. Daniel and Julie left on Thursday to spend Christmas in the county with Julie's family. This was the first year Eddie and I were in Moscow for Christmas and would not be spending Christmas day with my entire family.
On Christmas Eve we went over to my Grandma Paul's house were we ate, sang and played games with the entire Paul clan which seems to be growing each year.
After the Christmas Eve service Eddie and I started a new tradition and slept under the Christmas Tree. Christmas morning came and we woke William up so he could open his gifts and stocking.
After opening the gifts at home, we headed over the my parents house to have a big Christmas breakfast and open the remaining gifts. It was great. Quite, because everyone was gone but my parents and Laura. But we had such a wonderful time.
And thus the holidays ended and packing began.
