Last week we could not have asked for better weather. It was warm and sunny on the drive to the Casper airport. Sara was there wait for us. She had come for a holiday, a week to be away from Moscow and to see the wonderful state of Wyoming. And I could not have been more pleased. But we made a slow start in seeing the area because Sara brought a cold and we had colds of our own. Eddie, William and Sara were sick over the weekend and by Tuesday we took William in to Quick Care to find that he had a double ear infection. Poor kid just looked terrible. We got him on antibiotics and kept him drugged up so he would sleep. Eddie was well by the beginning of the week and William felt better after a few days on the antibiotics. Sara on the other hand just stayed sick the whole trip. Head colds are a downer. But despite all that we were able to go on a few hikes. We hiked up to the Garden Creek waterfall and campgrounds and we drove to Alcova to see the canyons and the lake. We went to the geological museum, the art museum and did a lot of walking and talking.
