We have moved! And even though it feels like we moved to a different state, we are still in Idaho. Soda Springs. Home of the all natural carbonated soda springs and the only tapped and timed geyser.
The move was a bit more complicated and rushed than we had hoped. Our original move date was pushed forward when we realized the huge snow storm headed towards the whole northern Idaho was not going to wait till we were ready. So with the help of my parents, Daniel, Julie and lovely Sara and Laura we were able to get the trailer all packed and we left town ready for the long car read ahead. But right as we got on the highway Eddie realized the trailer was not packed right and his truck was too light to pull such a heavy load. Thankfully we realized this soon enough and were able to make it back to my parents shop before Eddie ended up in the ditch. After much deliberation, Eddie and my father decided to leave the trailer behind and my dad would follow in a few days with his big truck. And Laura stayed at our empty apartment and cleaned it so we could get our deposit back. I don't know what we would do without family.
It took two long 6 1/2 hour days to drive to Soda Springs.
But we made it! Furnitureless but made it none the less.
